Since when is meat just dropped off in the alley, even for only five minutes, without someone from the restaurant there to accept it?

It's sad that anyone would eat at a place owned by such an incompetent douche.

According to this Fox News report http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfo... the apparent reason the meat was in the back alley is because that is where the refrigerator is, which begs the question of whether that makes it any better. I for one am still weary of the idea of any of my food being stored in an alley. And yes Kristina, indication is that there will be a back alley burger in attempts to turn the tables on this health violation.

Apparently people on Spike's mailing list got an email saying they created the Back Alley Burger: Bacon, Sautéed Mushrooms, Muenster Cheese, Thousand Island Dressing.

Although it sounds delicious (mmm, bacon), I'd rather not get food poisoning.
